After the Uniform is a full-length guidebook with stories, insights, and structured reflection—built like a mission plan for life after service.

The Strengthen the Positive journals are lighter tools meant for daily or weekly reflection. One is Veteran-focused, the other is for anyone navigating life transitions.

Not at all. While After the Uniform and Strengthen the Positive: For Veterans were designed with the military community in mind, the themes—resilience, clarity, purpose—are universal.

Strengthen the Positive: The Journal and other upcoming titles are built for anyone ready to take a breath, reflect, and move forward with intention.

Yes. Many of the prompts are perfect for small groups, peer support teams, or community sessions. If you're leading a group and want a companion guide, feel free to reach out.

All titles are available on Amazon. Just search for the book name or “Jeff Rogers", or "Strengthen the Positive.” You can also find links on the Books Page.

I do. If you're ordering for a group, nonprofit, school, or community org, send a message at jeff@strengthenthepositive.com and I’ll work with you.

Amazon handles fulfillment, so availability may vary by region. If you're outside the U.S. and run into issues, let me know and we’ll figure out an option.

It’s a simple, printable one-pager to help you refocus when life feels messy. You can use it as often as you like—no rules, no pressure. Just honest reflection.

Yes. As this neighborhood grows, we will add new resources—worksheets, prompts, and quote cards, for example. I'm also considering getting involved via Zoom calls and other ways to connect.

Anyone at a crossroads. Anyone carrying something heavy. Anyone ready to stop drifting and start moving forward with purpose.

Veterans. Caregivers. Families. Burned-out professionals. People rebuilding from grief. If you’re nodding while reading this—you belong here.

Yes. I speak on topics like resilience, Veteran transition, emotional strength, and personal mission. Whether it’s a community event, podcast, interview, or a private session, I’d be honored to help. Use the Speaking page to connect.

At first glance, it’s a tree inside a circle. But like most things here, there’s more to it.

The tree represents strength through growth.

Its roots are steady—but its branches reach in all directions.

That’s you. That’s anyone navigating transition, healing, or personal clarity.

The arrow rising from the top? That’s intentional movement.

You’re not rushing. You’re not spinning in place.

You’re growing on purpose—even if it’s just one step at a time.

The branches split outward, not upward. That’s a nod to something I deeply believe: Clarity doesn’t always mean certainty. It means direction.

The circle surrounding it all? That’s the neighborhood.

It’s the space we hold for one another—where you can reflect, reconnect, and keep going without judgment.

This logo isn’t about performance. It’s about presence.

And every time you see it, I hope it reminds you that you’re still growing, still rooted, and still headed forward—on your terms.

I began starting almost every TikTok video that way, because it’s not just a greeting.

It’s a reminder that we’re not meant to do this alone.

It’s also a quiet tribute to someone I’ve admired my whole life: Fred Rogers. While we’re not related, I’ve always felt a connection to “Mr. Rogers” because of our shared last name. In fact, I’ve lost count of how many times someone’s asked me, “How’s the neighborhood?”

He embodied everything I strive to bring into this space—kindness without judgment, creativity without ego, and a sense that you’re already enough, just as you are.

We may not be sitting on a porch or tying our shoes, but “Hey Neighbor” still means the same thing here:

You belong. You’re seen. And I’m glad you’re here.

You’ll see this line at the end of almost everything I do. It’s more than a sign-off—it’s a reflection of how I want to live, and how I hope others do too.

  • Take care: For me, that’s about people. I’ve always been someone who takes care of those I love—my family, my close friends, the ones who matter most. I want the same for anyone who comes through this space: take care of your people, take care of your heart.
  • Be well: That’s the reminder we don’t say often enough. Your well-being matters—physical, emotional, and spiritual. You can’t show up for others if you don’t give yourself the same care and energy. Being well isn’t selfish. It’s essential.
  • Go slow: This one’s personal. My dad never said goodbye. He’d say, “Go slow.” He said it to me my whole life—when I was a kid, when I became a man, and especially in the last few years of his life, when I became his caretaker. No matter how chaotic things were—doctor appointments, hospital visits, everyday challenges—he always ended with “go slow.”

And it stuck. It reminded me that life moves fast. And sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is slow down. To be present. To take it in.

Now, I share that sign-off not just for myself, but for anyone who might need it: Take care, be well, and go slow.
